SANDESH
As the long hot days of summer give way to cooler crisp autumn weather, one of nature’s splendid color display put on stage for most of the northern states – a colorful
reminder that winter is around the corner. Autumn marks the beginning of the festive
season for many cultures around the world but most importantly ours. India's most important and popular festival Diwali, the festival of lights is approaching quickly. The
golden glow from Diyas overshadows the gray of autumn and believed to bring good
fortune. Continuing the tradition, IAWT has planned to celebrate Diwali on November
17th. Please mark your calendar and plan on attending!
It takes lot of time and
effort to put an event together for the community. Your attendance is
an encouragement for committee members to plan future events and
even IAWT’s future.
