Anaheim may be best known for being the home of
Disneyland, but this is just one of many glorious landmarks
peppering Orange County and the surrounding area. Anaheim
is in the heart of sunny Southern California, with Los Angeles
only an hour’s drive north and San Diego about 90 minutes
south. Throw in world-famous beaches, amazing weather, and
the surrounding mountains, and you might think you just
entered utopia.
Major highways, Amtrak, Metrolink and the OCTA bus service
are all available in Anaheim and give you many choices for
getting around locally, as well as surrounding areas, including
Las Vegas. There are five airports within driving distance.
Orange County definitely caters to sports fans. Anaheim is
home to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim MLB team, the
Anaheim Ducks NHL team and LA KISS (arena football).
Within a short distance are the Los Angeles Lakers, Los
Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Kings, LA Galaxy, San Diego
Padres and San Diego Chargers.

need them most of the year.

Serving the local communities since 1974, Orange County–
Anaheim Medical Center is a 436-bed facility with more than
5,600 employees, 66 physician offices, 11 labor and delivery
beds, and an on-site occupational health center. The medical
center is state of the art, with services including inpatient,
outpatient, patient/family support, community outreach and
imaging. Specialties include cancer, diabetes and endocrinology,
orthopedics and urology.
Orange County–Anaheim Medical Center has numerous satellite
medical offices that support the surrounding communities.
In addition to participating in numerous community outreach
events throughout the year, the medical center hosts a weekly
farmers’ market through partnerships with local growers to
promote healthy eating.
