2016 Winter Dzogchen Retreat with Ven. Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche January 16–23, 2016 Empowerment of the Twenty-One Taras according to the Lineage of Jigme Lingpa and HH Dudjom Rinpoche with Dzogchen Teachings on the Outer, Inner, Secret, and Ultimate Meanings of the Praise to the Twenty-One Taras by HH Dudjom Rinpoche, according to The Smile of Sun and Moon by Ven. Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche The twenty-one emanations of Tara—the mother of all the buddhas—manifest swiftly to protect sentient beings from all fears, pacify evils, disease, and misfortune, increase longevity, wealth, and merit, overpower deluded perception and destroy the enemy of five poisons: one's own disturbing emotions. Ven. Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche's commentary presents The Praise to the Twenty-One Taras in view of Longchen Nyingthig terma teaching revealed by the great terton Jigme Lingpa. It has four levels of meaning: the outer, inner, secret, and the ultimate meaning explained according to Prajnaparamita, Mahayoga, Anuyoga, and Atiyoga. Born on the world’s highest plateaus in Tibet, Venerable Khenpo Tsewang Dongyal Rinpoche began an extraordinary life as a Tibetan Buddhist monk learning mindfulness, meditation, and philosophy taught by the Buddha. By studying and practicing the vast Buddhist literature on the science of mind, Khenpo Rinpoche developed his understanding and wisdom. Khenpo Rinpoche was enthroned by HH Dudjom Rinpoche as an abbot in the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism. In 1980 he came to New York where he and his revered brother, Ven. Khenchen Palden Sherab Rinpoche (1938-2010) founded the Padmasambhava Buddhist Center. The PBC West Palm Beach branch is one of the many centers in the USA, and teachings were first given here in 1983. Khenpo Rinpoche is an expert of Theravada, Mahayana, and Vajrayana Buddhism, and is a master of Dzogchen. He is the author of several learned works in Tibetan, and has co-authored over 25 Dharma books in English.
