Alumni Association to "Donate" funds (with tax deductibility in play) of “Cool a School” for
Farrington High School
1. Donation receipt issued - by Sustain Hawaii
• Sustain Hawaii offering Contagus savings membership provided as a "Thank you“ to
the Alumni Association.
• Membership will be issued per coordination (Via list provided by Alum. Assoc)
* Projected per unit cost (subj.to taxes/fees) based on volume purchase negotiated by Sustain Hawaii. Less the cost of administration included.

Program Model (Proposal)
Alumni Association to "Donate" funds (with tax deductibility in play) of “Cool a School” for
Farrington High School
1. Amount of donation: $15,000 ($30 x 500 memberships)
• 50% goes to project for portable classroom
• Number of portable: 1 (Farrington has total of 10 portable classrooms)
• Cost Factors:
• $7,500* per portable ( x 10 = $75,000)
• $5,000* PV/AC hardware & install (Technology partner: Eco4Life)
• $2,500 reserved for maintenance and electricity (Year 1+)
• Future:
• $75,000 x 2 / $30 = 5,000 memberships to do all 10 portable classrooms
* Projected per unit cost (subj.to taxes/fees) based on volume purchase negotiated by Sustain Hawaii. Less the cost of administration included.
