Nero Express – CD Burning Software Requirements: Blank CD-R disc To Install Program: At the NAL window: 1. Go to the Applications Install folder and click on the Nero Express Install icon. 2. You will be asked to restart your computer……choose NO. 3. Next, Go to the Multimedia folder and click on the Burn Rights icon. 4. You will be asked to Reboot your computer so you will need to do so at this time. 5. After logging back on, Go to the Multimedia folder and click on the Nero Express Run icon. 6. You will now be able to burn your files to a CD. Note: Once the software is installed on the computer it is installed for all users on that computer. The user will only need to click the Nero Express Run icon to access the program. To Access Program: Click the Multimedia folder in your application launcher. Next, Double-Click on the Nero Express Run Icon Main Menu: Step 1: You will first choose the Data option to burn files to a CD: Step 2: You will then choose the Data Disc Option. Disc Content Step 3: Next you will choose Add to select your files. Step 4: You will now need to find the drive where your files are located. You will then highlight the file that you would like to burn and click Add at the bottom of the window. If you would like to add another file, then browse to that file and continue to Add. When you are done, click Finished. Note: If you would like to add several files at one time then hold down the Ctrl key while you click on each file that you would like to select and then choose Add. Note: To retrieve files from a digital camera, you will need to locate the drive that you connect the USB port to (should be “E” or “F” drive). Step 5: Once you click Finished, you will see this window. Check that you have added all of the necessary files, then click Next. Step 6: You will now change the Final Burn Settings: 1. Select the Current Recorder which should be your DVD/CD-RW drive. (The drive letter will vary depending on the user) 2. Create a Disc Name if you would like; 3. Select the writing speed (12x will be the fastest). Note: If you would like to see the Final Burn Settings then click on More. Make sure that the Finalize Disc box is checked. (Once the Finalize Disc is chosen, you will not be able to add any additional data to your disc.) Step 7: Choose Burn when you are ready to start the process. Note: The burning process will take several minutes (depending on your files). Step 8: You should receive this message if process was completed correctly. Click OK. Step 9: Click Next. Step 10: You can now choose to Exit.
