interesting places that will make you want to drive out of your
way! Allegany County is steeped in history, and our antique
shops will help you wile away a lazy weekend!
Scenic Drives for Cars and Motorcycles – This
very colorful map includes the best of Allegany by vehicle. Enjoy
a relaxing ride in your car and check out all the scenic views,
picnic areas, great shops, and villages. If you are motorcycle
enthusiast you can take comfort that all trails are paved.

Hikers, back-packers and even
bikers will find miles of scenic
trails, thousands of acres of county
and state forest lands to explore,
and campgrounds to suit every
personality. Hike through the wooded wonderlands with
formally maintained as well as informal trails, open to the
public. The Finger Lakes Trail travels through the east and west
of the county, while the Greenway Trail runs from north to
south. Also, below Wellsville to the PA line is the newly
reopened WAG trail. Please refer to our map, and check out the
