1 Spring 2015 Coming Events 2015 May 30 – June 27 PSNH Members’ Exhibition Jaffrey Civic Center ARTISTS’ RECEPTION NEW DATE Sat., June 6 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 16 Members’ Meeting 10 a.m. Faithbridge Church Manchester May 30 – 31 2 – Day Workshop Ed Chesnovitch Saturday, August 15 Paint Out & Wet Sale Cox Reservation Essex, Mass. Sunday, Sept. 6 One-Day PSNH Paint Out & Show The Fells Newbury, NH Details to Come President’s Message I just looked back to last year’s message for this issue. It said “Spring at last! I was beginning to think it would never come, but it really always does.” Well, it did and it really always does. This year it is especially welcome. I’m eager to get outside and paint something green, although, as of this writing, there is still a foot of snow in my backyard. The year ahead looks busy. We have our Tenth Annual Members’ Show coming up. Ten years is a milestone for a volunteer group, and the existence of the Pastel Society of New Hampshire is a tribute to all of the members who do volunteer. At the Liz Hayward Sullivan Workshop in February, Liz encouraged the participants to volunteer. I echo her words. We need new people to enrich PSNH with fresh ideas. Volunteer for a director’s post or chair one our events. If you like to work with a friend or spouse, volunteer as cochairs. Call our vice president or me to find out what is needed and what you can do to help our society celebrate its eleventh annual members’ show. Watch for the notice to submit your application for “It’s Pastel!” As you know, this will be our first Register Today!
