Payment Policy
Final payments are due at event completion. To ensure quality service for you
and your guests, final payments must be paid with no more than two valid credit
cards. For your convenience, you will have the option on your contract to put a
credit card number on file for payment. If you would like to review and approve
your bill before payment is processed, we are happy to present you a copy of
your final check at the conclusion of the event. Otherwise, you can choose not
to be bothered with the final bill at that time and instead authorize Mash House
Falls to process payment. You will be provided an itemized copy of your receipt
the next business day in this case. Of course, you always have the option of
simply receiving your bill and presenting your valid credit card in person at the
conclusion of your event. Unfortunately, Mash House Falls cannot accept personal
or corporate checks for final payment. Please speak with your Event Coordinator
prior to event date if you have any questions.

Event Flow
As mentioned above, by the day of your event your Event Coordinator will have
sent you directions, parking and transportation information for you and your
guests. You will have finalized your exact guest count, and your room will be fully
set including customized printed menus, and any other set up details you have
discussed with your Event Coordinator. All you have to do is show up and enjoy!
Upon your arrival, our hostess will greet you and your guests. Simply tell her your
party name and she will escort you to your private dining room where you will
meet your captain and additional service staff. Your captain will communicate
directly with the Chef throughout service. Your team of servers will take great care
of you, answering any questions and addressing any needs that may arise during
the evening. There will always be a manager on duty available to you, as well. Of
course, should any last minute changes or questions come up, please contact the
restaurant and speak with the manager on duty if the Event Coordinator is not
immediately available.

Menu Selections
Parties of 25 or more require a set menu. This will ensure that your event will be
execut-ed in a timely manner, and also allows you to customize your event. Your
menu selection due date will be determined by your Event Coordinator depending
on the proximity of your event. Customized beverage menus are also available
through your Event Coordinator.
Personal Event Coordinator
When hosting your event at Mash House Falls, we take the stress out of the
planning for you. Our Event Coordinator will put their experience and efficiency to
work for you. We can help you coordinate all of your meeting or party needs from
audio/visual equipment and presentation materials to flowers and cakes. At no
point while planning your event will you ever feel alone. Our knowledgeable Event
Coordinator will be by your side to answer questions, help you make decisions
and ensure that your event is exactly what you’ve envisioned.
Communication & Deadlines
Setup & Timing
Early seating times are a great option for rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties and
similarly large parties. For other groups, including a cocktail hour prior to a
seated dinner event within your seating time is an ideal way to add some fluidity
in arrival and time for mingling prior to the beginning of dinner.
Menu Selections
A good menu has both variety and balance. If you choose to offer appetizers,
select a mixture of hot and cold items. If it’s a standing cocktail party, make
selections easily enjoyed without a formal seating setup. For your entrée
selections, consider a variety of beef, seafood, vegetarian and poultry to appeal
to a variety of tastes. Balancing vegeta-bles and starches for your sides can help
maximize your menu as well. Do your best to address any food allergies or dietary
restrictions in your group during the planning process so we can be sure everyone
has a chance to fully enjoy their experience. We are flexible, so if anything
comes up during your event, simply let us know and we’ll do whatever we can to
accommodate your needs!
Desserts
Often hosts will provide their own ceremonial dessert for special occasions.
Including the additional dessert option as listed on our private dining menus can
offer guests an additional alternative.
Beverages
Your Event Coordinator can help you customize a beverage selection based
upon your menu choices, group tastes, and budget. Again, create variety in your
selections and don’t hesitate to ask for suggestions.
Pricing Structure
Mash House Falls does not charge room rental fees for reservations in our Private
Dining Rooms. Rather, we require a minimum amount spent in food and beverage
in order to privately reserve one of our private rooms. Your specific food and
beverage minimum is determined by event day/date, location and timing. It does
not affect menu pricing and is simply an agreed-upon sales guarantee. Tax and
gratuity do not apply toward the minimum.
SEATING AREAS •••
At the Mash House we offer a variety of Private and Semi Private dining and
reception spaces perfectly suited for special occasions or business gatherings. If
you have questions about capacity or setup options, please feel free to discuss
this with our Event Coordinator.
Our very versatile Patio
Capacity and Layout: 70 guests seated or standing. The Patio has the ability to
be open, with our sliding see through panels. It is also heated and we have a
fireplace for cooler occasions. You will find 3 TV’s with audio & video hook ups.
Access from the inside and the outside provide excellent accessibility. Setup can
be long tables, or individual tables of 4-6 people depending on your needs. A
great area with lots of versatility.
After confirming timing & setup details and upon receiving your final menu &
beverage selections, your Event Coordinator will send you a Banquet Event Order.
This will outline all specifics for your review and approval. After confirm-ing timing
& setup details and upon approving your final menu & beverage selections, your
Event Coordinator will send you a Private dining contract this will outline all the
specifics for your review and approval. If any questions arise in the meantime, we
are only a phone call or email away.
Decorations & Special Arrangements
You are welcome to provide any kind of décor you wish with the exception of
confetti or loose glitter and decorations that cause wall and/or surface damage.
Our staff is happy to set up any photos, balloons, or centerpieces that you
provide. If you would like to provide place cards, let your Private Dining Manager know so that he/she can confirm layout and arrange to receive your detailed
legend for place card setup. Mash House is happy to accept deliveries from florists
or bakeries and will store the flowers and cakes accordingly in the walk-in cooler.
We are eager to accommodate your needs in any way we can so please be sure to
communicate with us about any special arrangements you might have.
Guest Count
Capacity and Layout: 42 Guests sitting or standing. A unique room with the “Sports
Enthusiast” in mind, or a casual get together. Offering high top tables, and 4 HD
TV’s to get the most out of any event or use these for a presentation or slideshow
using HDMI or AGI connections from all angles. Comfortable, versatile and in close
proximity to our bar and all of our great Craft Brewed beers!
You will provide an initial working guest count to your Event Coordinator in order
to confirm your reservation with contract and credit card information. So that we
can ensure an ideal Private Dining experience, we ask that you provide at least
72-hour advance notice of exact and final guest count. This deadline will be listed
on your contract and this final guest count is not subject to reduction. Increases
in guest count are subject to management approval based upon room capacity,
staffing and menu availability.

Capacity and Layout: Seating for 140 at individual tables or 120 in banquet form.
We are unique Monday through Friday. Our main dining area is free from walk in
traffic from as early as 10:00 am to 4:00 pm weekdays. We can be as flexible as
you need us to be. From a party of 6 during normal business hours, to a Private
Luncheon during the week, we can meet your needs. Our Event Coordinator can
answer all of your questions about setups, menus, design, decorating and special
needs.
Minimums for rooms are subject to change during the holiday season
We’re pretty popular for
a big party— always a keg handy.
If the event is cancelled 48 hours or less prior to the start time of the event, there
will be a $50 cancellation fee charged to the credit card listed on the Private
Dining Contract. Any cancellation prior to 48 hours before the event will not be
charged.
