Who we are
Welcome to the Private Label division of the Whyte & Mackay Group.
The Whyte & Mackay Group, established in Glasgow in 1844, is synonymous with leading global
Scotch whisky brands such as Dalmore, Isle of Jura, Fettercairn and Whyte & Mackay itself, and through
the natural landscapes of Scotland, and the flawless raw ingredients available to us, we are able to craft
own label whisky to meet the specific needs of markets around the world.
We are one of the world leaders in the supply of own label whisky, crafted by years of experience, skill
and detail by our master distillers in the Highland, Speyside and Island regions of Scotland, the birthplace
of the water of life (Gaelic – uisge beatha).
One of Scotland’s oldest distilleries,
Fettercairn, is sited in the beautiful Highlands
of Scotland and contains two wash stills and
two spirit stills
Whyte & Mackay Private Label is immersed in the history and heritage of Scotch whisky providing us with
the necessary expertise and knowledge to distinguish us from others in the own label whisky market.

We have four key malt distilleries and a grain distillery in Scotland, supported by a full infrastructure of
maturation bonded warehouses, and a state of the art production facility based just outside Edinburgh.
We supply cased own label, bulk liquid and tertiary brands for exclusive use providing our discerning
customers with both traditional and innovative whisky styles and resulting in award winning product being
