GLOBAL SPECTRUM HAMILTON kicked off their 2nd annual 12 Days of Giving Campaign where each day from Dec. 8–19, staff members will band together to give back to a charity near and dear to them. Charities that will be receiving support include: Hamilton/ Burlington SPCA, Mary’s Place Women’s Shelter, City Kids and Good Shepherd, among others. COLONIAL LIFE ARENA participated in the 30th Annual Carolina-Clemson Blood Drive on November 19th by hosting 2 busses on its plaza. The blood drive was a great success as we beat our goal given to us by the Red Cross. We collected 74 pints of blood which, according to the Red Cross, can save up to 222 lives! Thanks to the Harlem Globetrotters for donating 40 tickets to be given away to donors. The Carolina-Clemson Blood Drive is a competition each year to see which school will donate more blood and we did our part to help the University of South Carolina win for the 7th straight year. The drive lasts the full week as collections are taken all across the state. The full campaign resulted in 6,896 people donating. We were happy to be a part of something that results in something this great! Day 1: The Marketing team loves animals, so for Day #1 they decided to stop by the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA to donate $250 toward new dental equipment to help the staff keep all the animal’s smiles shiny and bright!
