We’ve got months of exciting activities for your family and friends – from concerts to fireworks! Mark Your Calendars Now! Friday, June 29 5 – 10pm CARS & STRIPES FOREVER! Harbor Blvd. & Vincent Thomas Bridge, San Pedro August 7 7:30 - 10pm MOVIE IN THE PARK Wilmington Waterfront Park, Wilmington This crowd-pleasing car show and live music event is in its fourth year. Join us for special patriotic-themed songs at the fountain, food, live bands, classic cars and fireworks! All activities are free. Enjoy a free Movie in the Park as we show the Disney Pixar movie “Cars 2”! There will be family entertainment too, so bring your chair and snacks and come out to the Park. Friday, June 29 August 15 – 19 Harbor Blvd. and 22nd Street, San Pedro Harbor Blvd. & 1st Street, San Pedro 11am – 7pm CRAFTED AT THE PORT OF LOS ANGELES GRAND OPENING Join in the grand opening festivities at the newest attraction along the LA Waterfront – CRAFTED at the Port of Los Angeles. This large-scale, permanent craft marketplace features a vibrant collection of local crafts and hand-made goods – all on sale and ready for you to take home. Thursday, July 12 – August 30** SUMMER CONCERT SERIES 6 – 9pm Come out and see a naval destroyer and other vessels as part of Navy Days LA 2012. September 14 – 16 PORT OF LOS ANGELES LOBSTER FESTIVAL Ports O’ Call Village, San Pedro Enjoy free live outdoor concerts on Thursdays this summer at the LA Waterfront! Each week will feature a different band and genre of music. Family entertainment takes place at 6pm and the music starts at 7pm! Bring your chairs and enjoy the show! August 3 - 4 TASTE IN SAN PEDRO AT THE PORT OF LA Friday, 5 – 11pm Saturday, 11am – 11pm Sunday, 11am – 7pm Come to the world’s largest lobster festival, home of the Guinness World Record for the Most Seafood Served at an outdoor event. Feast on fresh Maine lobster flown in daily, and plenty of live entertainment featuring the hottest bands. Check the website for updates at www.lobsterfest.com.
