Fantastic cocktail in family
Through this trip, you will discover all the amazing characteristics of the Isle of Beauty. On the
coast, the “ziteddi” (Corsican word for children) will learn the bases of sea kayaking, discover the
seabed, and will enjoy the marvellous white-sand beaches. As for the mountain, the second part of
this trip will take you to the famous Vizzavona forest, where you will swim in the crystalline water
of its river. Another occasion to discover one of the numerous faces of a land that we call Kallisté,
“the most beautiful”.

Meeting at Ajaccio’s station at 2.30pm. Reception, preparation of the
boats and transfer to the Castagna Peninsula. Introduction to sea
kayaking. Dinner and bivouac on the Francinasca beach under the stars.
You will be given an introduction to sailing bases, between coves and
rocks, in the wildest part of the Gulf: the Cacao Bay. Visit of the
lighthouse of Muro, on the Capo di Muro headland. Dinner and bivouac
on the Capo Di Muro beach.

ITINERARY
We will sail towards the beautiful tower of Capu Neru, named after its
dark rocks. Swim with fins, snorkel and diving mask, before sailing to
the Cupabia beach. Dinner and bivouac on the tower of Capanelle
Beach.

Sailing towards the lovely harbour of Porto Pollo over crystalline
waters. Picnic on the beach and return to the base where we will swap
kayaks for hiking shoes. Transfer to the Vizzavone Pass. Dinner and
night in a shelter.

You have to take a large
plastic box (0.8 l) to
carry your pic-nic, a
plastic gobelet, a plastic
bowl and cutleries.
Departure from Vizzavona to the Tortettu sheep fold. We will go through
the Tilleuls path, and have a break near the Foce sheep fold, to gaze at
the Renosu Massif. After walking up 300meters higher, we will go down
to a sumptuous secular beech grove at the Tortettu sheep fold. You will
have the opportunity to swim in the crystalline waters of the Agnone
river. Dinner and bivouac at the Tortettu sheep fold.
We will leave the Tortettu sheep fold and walk to the crest line on the
Vizzavona pass to reach the ancient French Fort and the village of
Vizzavona. Short transfer to Bocognano. Dinner in a lovely inn in the
village and night in tents.
 Difference in altitude: +136m / - 685m. Length: 3h.
Downhill of the famous canyon La Richiusa, fun and welcoming, which
offers you all the pleasures a canyon could: natural slides, jumps (these
are not compulsory), diving and abseiling. All these activities will allow
you to discover the pure waters of the mountains and the wild Corsica
landscapes. Picnic and return to Ajaccio at the beginning of the
afternoon.
 Depending on the circumstances (weather conditions, technical level of
the participants, accommodations overloaded), the schedule can be
changed by the staff in order to make the trip more enjoyable.
Luggage
You have to split your things in 2 bags: a backpack and a kit bag.
 The Backpack (about 30 l): This bag will be used for the hikes, the
bivouacs, the sea kayak and the hybrid bike. On the premises, the
guide will tell you what to bring for each stage.
 The kit bag (0 to 80 l): This bag contains what you do not need
during the day. We transfer it to each place we stay at night so that
you can have them. Their weight should not be over 15kg. Thank you
for respecting this limit.
