flute, guitar and vocals: a feast for the ears)

2 pm Boghat (A traditional Irish dance music trio)
2:50 pm Manx Three Legged Uphill Race – Sponsored by
Front Street Shipyard (Run up and down the hill on the
Common. Grab a buddy and fall down together.)

forms of Celtic dance)
4:30 pm Open the Door for Three (A "high-octane" trio of
Irish musicians)
5:40 pm The Colleen Raney Band (An extraordinary vocalist
bringing new life to old ballads)
6:50 pm The Press Gang (Newly reformed quartet brings skill
and fluency in the Irish tradition)

10 am The 12th annual Kirkin' o' the Tartans
will be celebrated at The First Church in Belfast, 104
Church St., at the 10 a.m. service, including the “calling of the clans” where anyone of Celtic descent can
stand and shout out their family name; the “blessing
of the bairns,” a special message and blessing for the
children; and the “fields of the forest,” a remembrance of those who have died in the past year. The
service will also feature Scottish or Irish music, sung
and played on traditional instruments.
All Day The Highland Heavy Games (Scottish
Hammer Throw, Caber Toss, Open Stone Put, and
Heavy Weight Throw. Amateurs welcome. Registration
begins at 7:30 am.)
12 – 4 pm The Children's Area – Sponsored by Out
