6 pages of Artistan project Inspiration GREAT MOMENTS BY NINA OSTERMANN ARTISAN COLLECTION: Chipboard Stars, 8" x 8" Paper Pack, Squares, Words, Ribbon Zig Zag, Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Tinsel, Tropicana Teal and Mint. OTHER SUPPLIES: White Cardstock & Chalk Pens 1. For my page I've used a paper from the Artisan Great Moment Layout by NINA OSTERMANN 8" x 8" Resistable Paper Pad. At first I've cut the paper in four rectangles and add the color with chalk pens. I love playing with different colors and it´s an easy thing to get great effects working with chalk on your fingertips. 2. After layering two of the papers I sew around all four rectangles and add them with 3D pads on white cardstock. 3. Next step is to create an "Ombre" effect with the Artisan Zig Zag Ribbon. 4. After cutting three strips I add some water with a brush on the whole ribbon and paint with Heidi Swapp Color Wash beginning on the top to the bottom. With this technique you can create your own"Ombre" effects in every color you want. 5. On the last step I add my picture and Embellishments like the Artisan chipboard stars, frame and title. Start with white 12" x 12" cardstock as the base background. Cut 3 doilies (3 ½”, 5”, 6”) using silhouette cameo or any die cut machine using Artisan papers. Paint each doily gold, wiping off before it dries to reveal resist pattern. Spray Heidi Swapp Color Shine (Gold Lame) lightly. Trim smallest doily (3 ½”) in half and glue one to top left of cardstock, placing the other half at the bottom right of cardstock. Place other doilies (5” & 6”) directly to middle of cardstock, slightly staggered from one another. Place round Artisan Elements in centers of large doilies & cut another in half to put on the doily you’ve cut in half (at top and bottom of layout.) Love This Life Layout BY SHANNA NOEL ARTISAN COLLECTION: Artisian 8" x 8" Papers; Artisan Words, Chipboard Hearts, Luxe rub-ons, Christy Tomlinson Coffee Filters; Portfolio Stamps; Pink Paislee Circles N Hearts Cut File; Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Black Velvet; OTHER SUPPLIES: Stamps, Overlay, Paper Towels Adhesive & Scissors 1. Go to the Pink Paislee Digital Store and select the Circles & Hearts cut file for purchase. Once you have it all set up on your die-cut machine software, select a smooth white cardstock. Once you have your file all cut out remove from the mat very carefully 2. After you have removed the cut, also take the time to remove the negative shapes from the mat and use these as a template to cut your circles out from. 3. Go to your favorite pink paislee collections and find different patterns of black and whites that attract you. Also make sure to grab your Artisan Collection as it will adapt to any color palette you are wanting to work with. 4. Start placing different items under your mask to see what looks good, where! You want to make sure you balance larger prints and patterns with smaller ones. I really LOVE the bold patterns the Artisian papers come in, they make such a FUN statement in the black and white! 5. Once you have decided which Artisian elements to add, take your Color Shine ( I used the Black Velvet) and get your masking box. From here I would cut a rough square so you are spraying the whole 8" x 8" paper. Place all your squares in your masking box and mist. I let them sit for a moment while I got a wet paper towel. This is where it can get a tiny bit messy so make sure you are prepared! :) I put my squared on top of a scratch piece of computer paper and just apply a bit of pressure as you wipe the mist off the paper. I find if I go in one direction (instead of back & fourth) it turns out a little better for me. I didn't want a white and black paper, I wanted this worn grey in between so I stopped once I was happy with the results. 6. Start placing, cutting and playing!! This is where it really gets fun, and you will start to see your layout come together. I did my flat pieces first, as well as my photo. I wanted my circles a little wonky, so I didn't worry too much about them being "perfect". 7. Once you have all the papers in place you can star filling in with 3D embellishments (my favorite for this layout was the Artisian Chipboard Hearts!) and stamps. The Portfolio stamps fit perfectly with the theme of this layout! 8. Add your finishing touches, to go with my wonky circles I wanted to add some doodles around the circles & hearts cut. I also added some splashes of the black velvet to add to the "messy" look. If you want to frame your layout simply add a dark (I used black here) cardstock to the back and call it a day! BUTTERFLY CARD BY KAROLA WITCZAK Artisan: 8 x 8 Resist-Able Paper Pack, Resist-able Chipboard Butterflies, Scallop Ribbons, Butterfly Wings, Artisan Borders & Heidi Swapp: Color Shine Georgia Peach Other products: 3D Dots, baby wipes 1. Prepare a folded card base by folding one of the Artisan 8 x 8 papers in half. Then cut 0.25 inch from the right side. The final size of the base should be: 3.75 x 8 inches. 2. Cut a second sheet to 3.5" x 7.5" and create a shaded background in the "ombre" style. Use wet wipes and spray it with Color Shine spritz. (Georgia Peach) Then carefully wipe the spray ink on the second sheet of paper. First apply a small amount of ink to coat the entire sheet, and then shade more on the bottom half by adding more Color Shine ink onto the wet wipe. Try to keep the color graduating down the sheet by covering the bottom half with more and more ink. Adhere sheet to card base 3. Now you can start preparing other elements. Select 1 Artisan Border and Scallop Ribbon and cut them to length: 3.5 inches. Prepare one more piece of Scallop Ribbon, cut it to the lenght: 2.5 inches. Spray ribbon with shine and set aside to dry. 4. Using dies or punches cut out a few leaves from one of Artisan 8 x 8 papers and cut a 3 inche scalloped circle. Then cut out two strips with the other pattern of paper. The strips should be 2.5 inches length. Cut ends of paper strips create shapes like a long banner pieces. 5. Plan the placement of elements on the front of the card, then see which elements should be strongly colored, and which less. On my card I applied more Georgia Peach ink to Scallop Ribbons and Chipboard Butterflies. Try shading color on all elements to create the ombre effect. 6. Adhere all the elements on the background. Start with Scalloped Ribbons and stick it using 3D foam squares on the bottom part. Then add Artisan Border at the top part of the card. 7. Use only 3D foam squares to adhere rest of the elements - huge dimensional effect guarantee! First add 3' scalloped circle on the right side of background, a little bit behind card base. Adhere Chipboard Butterflies and leaves. Finish with two strips of paper adding it to the left side of the composition. The final touch is adding tiny Artisan flower (from Butterfly Wings pack) at the top of card.
