Wednesday, July 29, 2015 Vaudie Bell Jr. Vaudie Bell Jr., 74, of Hodgenville died Friday, July 24, at University Hospital in Louisville. He was a retired farmer. He was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church and pastor of Blue Lick Baptist Church. He was the son of the late Vaudie Sr. and Ida Mae Logsdon Bell. He is survived by his wife, Mary Hornback Bell; two sons, Brian (Susan) Bell and Rodney Bell; two sisters, Burnese (Donnie) Embry and Lucy (Percy) Stinson; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday, July 27, at Little Flock Baptist Church, with Bro. Earl Sanders and Bro. Terry Priddy officiating. Burial was in Little Flock Cemetery. Rogers-Oller Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Fred ‘Freddie’ Grimes Fred A. “Freddie” Grimes, 72, of Glendale died on July 23, 2015, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Dewey and Katherine Wirth Grimes. He is survived by his wife, Mavie Jean Baker Grimes of Elizabethtown and four children, Sandra Darlene (Cecil) Bailey of Eastview, Mitchelle (Charlotte) Grimes of Hodgenville, Mark Eugene Grimes of Elizabethtown, Karen Walker (Tim Dempster) of Elizabethtown. Cremation was chosen by the family and there were no services. OBITUARIES Lorraine O’Brien Lorraine L. O’Brien, 94, of East Peoria died July 19 at Rosewood Care Center in East Peoria, Ill. Lorraine was born on Dec. 8, 1920, in LaRue County to the late Marvin and Hattie Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene O’Brien. Cremation rites were accorded through Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria and graveside services were held on July 25 at Mason City Cemetery in Mason City, Ill. Lona Morgan Lona Pauline Wood Morgan, 83, of Hardyville, KY, passed away on July 20, 2015 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. She professed her faith in Christ in 1976 and became a member of Church In Camner. She was the daughter of the late Rector Wood and the late Amelia Florence Stinson Wood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by eleven siblings. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Willie Morgan, of Hardyville; one daughter, Debbie Ragland and husband David of Hodgenville; two sons, Todd Morgan and wife Myra, of Hardyville and Myron Morgan and wife Brenda of Hardyville; ten grand-children, twelve great-grand children, two great-great-grand children and several nieces and nephews. The visitation was held on July 23 at Brooks Funeral Home in Munfordville. The funeral service was held at the Church In Canmer with Brother Ronald Riordan and Brother Lindell Sexton officiating. Interment was held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Hardyville. Willie Morgan Willie Howard Morgan, 84, of Hardyville, passed away Saturday, July 25 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Morgan was a Farmer and Army Veteran. He was a member of Church In Canmer where he professed his faith in Christ in 1976. He was married to his late wife Lona Wood Morgan for 64 years. He was the son of the late Hayden H. Morgan and the late Bernice Thompson Morgan. He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Ragland and husband David, Hodgenville; two sons, Todd Morgan and wife Myra, Hardyville, and Myron Morgan and wife Brenda, Hardyville; two sisters, Ann Taylor and husband Randy, Munfordville and Sue Forbis, Horse Cave. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve greatgrand children, two great-great-grand children and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by eight siblings. The funeral service was held at the Church In Canmer on July 28 with Brother Ronald Riordan and Brother Lindell Sexton officiating. Interment was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Hardyville.
