About Melmark
Melmark provides residential, educational, vocational
and healthcare services for children and adults
with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and
developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries,
and other neurological and genetic disorders.

Melmark’s Adult Services
focuses on integrated
programs for adults 21 and
over who are diagnosed
with intellectual and
developmental disabilities.
Melmark’s adult programs
promote a greater level
of independence and
confidence and include:
Melmark’s Adult Services offers a full range of attractive,
community based and on-campus homes. Our
comprehensive resources meet the unique residential and
clinical needs of those entrusted to our care, including:
Melmark’s adult workshops provide services for adults
with moderate-to-profound developmental and physical
disabilities, based on an individual’s needs. For adults
with lower cognitive levels or those who are nonambulatory, activities include multi-sensory stimulation,
massage therapy and hand-over-hand training.

Workshops match each person’s abilities and desires,
emphasizing wellness, daily living and communication
skills. Pre-vocational activities are also included. All
workshops provide varied enrichment activities to
encourage social interactions and skills.
