Marcel Proust once said: ““The real
voyage of discovery consists not in
seeking new lands but seeing with
new eyes.”” In that spirit we'll use
experiences (and pictures) from the
Camino as our springboard. We'll
become explorers of our own lives,
seeing with new eyes the heart of
God at work within.

Registration Information
Teri is just crazy enough to believe that God's
plans for her life might actually work
out. Even when those plans seem, well,
crazy. There's generally, though, a long
period of "no!" before she finally says
"yes." This explains how Teri came to
ministry (following a long list of unrelated
careers), first at Parker UMC, and now with
the new church plant, the Elizabeth United
Methodists. It's also the explanation for 2 1/2
years of barefoot living.
ʕ Weekend Registration ʕ
Gift yourself, family member, or a friend
with this special weekend. For only $150
you get the workshop, which includes
Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday
morning sessions. Lodging for two nights
and all meals are provided.
ʕ Saturday (only) Registration ʕ
For $75 you receive brunch and evening
meals plus all Saturday sessions. This
option works well if you would like to
participate, but are unable to attend for
the entire weekend.
Then, just about a year ago, God had another
bright
(ridiculous,
ludicrous,
and
unbelievable!) idea. Walk the Camino de
Santiago. Another long period of "no!"
ensued. Which came to its usual end. Teri
walked the 490 mile Camino from September
6 - October 6, 2012. As she walked, she kept
up a popular blog, which she's been adding
to as she continues to write about this
powerful journey.
Since returning from
Spain, Teri has spent
time sharing with
others the beauty,
grace, and profound
spiritual power of her
Camino experience.
But she promises not
to share all 1,649 of
her photos during
this retreat. She's
not that crazy.

Specify on the registration form if you or
a friend need financial assistance to cover
retreat fees. You can also make a
donation to the retreat scholarship fund.
Directions to The Hideaway
Approximately 40 minutes from the
Parker area. All roads to the Hideaway
Inn are paved and maintained.

x Take Walker Road for ½ mile
x Go into the trees and look to the right
for the stone and stucco sign
