TAWAF - CIRCUMAMBULATION
Begin with your right leg in
line with the Black Stone.
Lift your hands – palms
facing Black stone.
Recite 3 times.
TAWAF - CIRCUMAMBULATION
Move onto your right till you come back to
the Black Stone.
During circumambulation ensure that you
move outside the area of Hateem. This
completes one Shaut.

First 3 Shaut to be performed in quick
steps.- Raml
Expose your right shoulder only on the
first 3 circuits.
TAWAF - CIRCUMAMBULATION
Must be in the state of wudhu.
Don’t overlook your starting
point.
Praise Allah in Tawaf.
May recite from the Quran.
May recite/ask any dua.
May recite any Tazbih

To be recited in all 7 Shauts.
O Our Lord grant us the best in this life and the best in the
next life, and protect us from the punishment of the fire.

Perform 2 Raka sunnah at
Muqam Ibrahim.
(Advisable to read Surah AlKaafiroon in 1st Raka and
Surah Al-Ikhlas in 2nd Raka.)
MUQAM IBRAHIM
Due to crowd you are permitted to pray in
any part of the mosque, do not interrupt a
Hajji or lead him to wrong by forcing
yourself to pray at Muqam-e-Ibrahim.

SAFA
SAYEE
Perform Sayee only after
completing 7 Shauts (Tawaf).
 Start from Mt. Safa.
Face the Kaabah
Raise your hands and recite
3 times.
SAYEE
Move towards Mt. Marwa.
When you come to the place which is lit
with a line of green lights move in fast steps
until you reach another row of lights which
are lit in green colour, then walk to Marwa.

Behold! Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of ALLAH. So if those
who visit the House in the season or at other times should compass them
around, it is no sin in them, and if any one obeys his own impulse to
good, be sure that ALLAH is HE who recognizes and knows.
