On behalf of the Members, Directors and Staff of the Dive Industry Association, I would like
welcome you to our 2014 Trade Publication and Directory. In our 13 year history of “Building a
Better Industry, One Member at a Time”,Dive Industry Association has taken a Leadership role
in uniting the industry to a common purpose and working to promote, grow and unify the Dive Industry.
This Trade Publication and Directory is more than a mere listing of dive businesses in the
industry. It’s a cooperative effort of Dive Industry Professionals who work tirelessly to promote
and grow the industry to bring you the best dive programs, products and service available.
Their collective support and dedication to the industry makes snorkeling and scuba diving one
of the most exciting and accessible recreations in the world today.
This Trade Publication and Directory is designed with the active Diver and Dive Business in
mind. We’ve built this publication to help Divers find quality diving equipment and accessories,
professional dive training, and world-class diving at destinations world-wide. From a Trade
standpoint, this Publication and Trade Directory serves as a purchasing guide for goods and
services available to the Retail and Wholesale DiveTrade. It is our goal to expand this publication

D.o.b 4th June 1958, in Fontainebleau (Seine et Marne, France) Student of Mrs
Yvonne Bouisset-Mignon, Ecole Comairas - Foundation Taylor-, Fontainebleau, (7377). Regular exhibitions since 1977 in France and abroad: 200 solo exhibitions
worldwide (USA, HAWAII, ENGLAND, GERMANY, JAPAN...), at all dive shows
since 1992 (BTS, OWU, SEASPACE, OCEAN FEST, WORLD UNDERWATER
FESTIVAL ANTIBES, SILVER SHARK KIEV, PARIS DIVE SHOW...), and DEMA
SHOW every year since 1998 (DEMA ARTIST OF THE YEAR 2001). Moved in
Normandy (Calvados - France) in 1982, and opens his own workshop in Honfleur in
1988. Since 2001, he’s working in a new studio in Fort Lauderdale (FL). Doctorate
of Arts (Ph.D) Thesis on Opera Stage Decoration (Paris VIII University, 1985) Opera
set designer and costumes designer from 1985 to 1996 in collaboration with
renowned stage director Philippe Godefroid (Tosca, Traviata, Ring, Parisfal...) in
France and Belgica. Author of hundred articles and conferences on painting and
on opera, specially on the technique of Ancient Masters and on Anatomy. Regular
contributor to art magazines Techniques des Arts and Artistes et Techniques
(1986-1990) and author of several collective books about technique of painting.
Pascal received the Diploma of Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection
and Nuclear Safety of Ukraine for his personal contribution on the cause of rising
of interest of people to underwater world and its protection, environmental
protection and nuclear safety. (june 2003) Pascal Foundation for the Arts and
Environmental Education which goal should be to help and promote children
to express themselves by painting and being concerned by the environment is
in construction. Pascal LECOCQ has been exhibiting his work across Europe
for the last thirty years and his paintings can be found in galleries and private
collections around the world. Although his work includes surreal landscapes and
opera decors, he has become famous for his images of divers in surreal situations
enveloped in remarkable blue vistas. Pascal LECOCQ loves telling stories.
The characters evolve in their natural but surrealistic environment in which the
spectators dive: this achieves the magic. Be it a diver “bullfighting” a great white
shark, a group of divers playing leapfrog, or basketball or even ballroom dancing
we are amused but in the same time, we never doubt the dignity of the character
portrayed. Pascal Lecocq “frogman” character quickly becomes as charming as,
dare say, Charlie Chaplin’s “the little Tramp”. The work of Pascal Lecocq reflects
his humor, poetry, dreams and imagination. Pascal Lecocq is a graduate of the
University in Paris with a doctorate in Art. He is the author of a Ph.D thesis on
opera decors. His pictorial research and color work point to his great admiration of
Van Eyck and Vermeer while his landscapes show the influence of Dali. His work
is extremely personal and his matter is smooth, bright and delicate.

Dive Industry Association is a Trade Association dedicated
to promoting unity and growth in the diving industry through
focusing on the success of its Members. For over thirteen
years, DIA has been “Building a Better Industry, One Member
at a Time” and has earned a reputation for being a successful
member-centric organization, guided by its Members, Advisors
and Staff. Often referred to as the Premier Trade Association
in Dive, DIA is a collaboration effort of 17 separate industries
that specialize in diving. Each industry sector has its own
autonomy within the organization. Business Memberships
include Manufacturing, Distributing, Dive Retail, Specialty
Retail, Dive Operator, Dive Club, Service Provider, Media, Trade
Association, Training Agency, Non-Profit Association, Shows

A Call for
Industry Unity
Scuba Diving is one of the most exciting recreations
ever invented. To be able to swim underwater and see
three quarters of the world that is hidden from view
to the rest of the world is a special privilege enjoyed
by only a few million people. To “fly” underwater
among the beautiful creatures of the sea , many who
have never seen a human being before, makes scuba
diving unlike any activity in your lifetime. For those of
you who have been to the underwater kingdom, you
know what I mean.
Once a person has made the transition to an
underwater visitor, there is a world of wonder
available to him or her, built by a Community of Diving
Enthusiasts who earn their living in DIVE. To make the
most of your professional journey, become a lifelong
student of the undersea world. As you progress
from Diver to Dive Professional, keeping up-to-date
with the dive industry is that much more important.
