Accordingly, by Kilian announces the launch of their 1st collection of evening bags aptly called “Night
Fetishes” from luxury brand creator and grandson of the founder of the famed LVMH group, Kilian Hennessy.
Night Fetishes
Lingerie, stilettos, lipstick, precious jewels, perfume sprays, champagne, caviar, and nights too exciting for
sleep. Female pleasures and objects of the moment, devoted to the intimacy of the night. Items that have a
secret place in the evening bag of everyone woman. This first collection of by Kilian evening bags evoke the
seductive side of the fetish game with bags that want to hold everything forbidden. Names such as;
"Invitation", "Don’t be shy", “Aphrodisiac”, “Prohibited” and “Surrender” tell the stories as they unfold.
Creation
Kilian Hennessy, who launched the “L’ Oeuvre Noire” perfume collection in 2007 and the “Arabian Nights”
perfume collection in 2009, stays true his brand philosophy with the “Night Fetishes” evening bag collection
by executing his belief that collectible luxuries, whether in the form of perfumes or accessories, should be
timeless, not a trend of the season… chic today and always.
Borrowing from the geometric shapes and sharp lines in the architecture of the Art Déco and Bauhaus eras,
the “Night Fetishes” collection combines geometric lines with perfectly straight edges. The black lacquered
finishes have a mirrored glaze and each bag is handmade by exceptional Florentine artists. Each of the
“Night Fetishes” evening bags has taken its name from By Kilian’s “L'Oeuvre Noire” fragrance collection.
Invitation - gold or silver edition
Utter simplicity. Asymmetrical rails set with Swarovski crystals scale the body of the case, bordering a metal
inlay, and wrap around the clasp. Invitation is the simplest, yet most demanding of the By Kilian evening
bags, as its no-frills design necessitates utterly flawless proportions. A fragile balance of lines benefits from
minimal decoration. It all starts with an "Invitation."

Surrender - gold or silver edition
Before raising the white flag for a complete surrender, there’s one final assault. A jolt of desire, an ambush,
sudden madness. On the lacquer, silver or gold metal marquetry evokes scratches left by the claws of an
unknown creature. Streaks of white metal blaze across a black background. A 1930s delight re-mastered for
2010.

Aphrodisiac
Caviar. Champagne. Two delicacies linked with the night, a soirée, or a secret rendez-vous. A waterfall of tiny
pearl beads conjures images of the Beluga and splits the geometric shape of the bag into two. Evoking the
extravagance of a Fitzgerald evening, late-night pleasures, transgression and life’s ultimate luxuries. It all
starts with several black grains on a mother-of-pearl spoon, and the next day all is forgotten. On the clasp,
pyramid-shaped black crystals finish the touch.

Prohibited – black or red edition
With the mystique of the stingray and its exotic skin, shagreen, Prohibited stands alone like a work of art
from the Art Deco period in the first decades of the 20th century. The stingray’s backbone resembles a
cluster of white pearls and adorns the middle of each bag, requiring an entire skin to be used in the creation
process. In ancient civilizations, this backbone was thought to be a protector of good luck and prosperity
while the stingray itself was believed to bring strength and power to anyone that handled it. With a faceted
white crystal solitaire that adorns the clasp, this bag is precious, exquisite, powerful and simply decadent.

Don’t be shy
Not for the timid. With its onyx ring, double metal serpents, and baguette cut black crystals, this evening bag
sends a message…. a warning. Its metal straps dance, adding an almost industrial touch to the bag and
juxtaposing the rare onyx. This case is for the woman who is not afraid of extreme sophistication, who spells
out "warning" with her lipstick.
