Campbellsville grabbed the second seed in the MSC Tournament as they went 10-4 in conference play and they secured the tiebreaker over Lindsey Wilson. Lindsey Burd has pace the Tigers this season with 17.2 points per game and she was named MSC Co-Player of the Year earlier this week. LeeAnn Grider bolsters the best Assist-to-Turnover ratio in the nation at 2.7. Chanel Roberts led the way for Lindsey Wilson, while Teanna Curry and Kayla Styles each tallied 13 points. ALL-TIME SERIES AGAINST CAMPBELLSVILLE The Tigers have controlled the all-time series against Lindsey Wilson as they hold 49-18 advantage against the Blue Raiders. However, the two teams split the regular-season series with each team winning on the road. SETTING THE BAR With the win on Thursday, Lindsey Wilson recorded their 26th win of the season, which set a new program record for wins in a single season. The previous record of 25 was set during the 1992-92 season and the 2008-09 season. A LOOK AT THE TOURNAMENT The first semifinal features top-seeded Shawnee State (Ohio) and fifth-seeded Pikeville (Ky.). Shawnee State defeated St. Catharine (Ky.) in the quarterfinals, 75-50, while Pikeville battled back to defeat Georgetown, 63-51. The first semifinal game starts at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday.
