CAMP STANDARDS
WHAT TO WEAR
The goal of our camp is to honor the Lord. Our camp
standards are based upon Biblical principles for
modesty. We do not believe that just having outward
standards will produce a spiritual heart, but they are
very important. We want to be the best we can be
for God.
Men: No earrings or necklaces. Modest, Masculine,
Christian clothing only.
Everyone following the camp standards helps to
promote an atmosphere of holiness andmodesty
that pleases the Lord and encouragesspiritual
growth. Thank you for your spirit and cooperation in
this matter.
SKIING,
SNOWBOARDING:
We are going to Camelback Mountain
(skicamelback.com) on Tuesday. Skiing and
Snowboarding is optional. For those campers
who are renting equipment, it is recommended
that they pre-register with Camelback Mountain.
Pre-registering is done online, only takes a few
minutes, and costs nothing. This will allow campers
to be in the system and sign off on the release form as
well as speed up the process in rentals.
WHAT TO BRING
Bible, sleeping bag, pillow, towels, washcloths, soap,
toothbrush, deodorant, comb, etc. Lots of warm
clothes (bring several changes), boots, gloves, etc.,
a big appetite, lots of energy and a good spiritual
attitude. You may bring a digital camera.
Women: All clothing is to be modest. Culottes must
look like a skirt and extend to the bottom of the knee.
Skirts or culottes will be worn at all times. Modest,
Feminine, Christian clothing only.
Cell Phones, iPods, mp3 players, video games, and
other similar devices will not be allowed during
the week of camp. (Digital cameras are allowed.)
Campers will be able to use their counselor’s phone
at any time.
