School Photos - Wednesday 21st May 2014
If you wish to purchase school photos, please fill in the envelope that
was sent home last term and return it to school prior to photo day.
Additional forms, and also Family order forms, are available at the office. Family photos are
only for siblings who attend Goulburn East Public School.
Online payments are encouraged and can be made at www.theschoolphotographer.com.au
Simply write your 6 digit order number on the front of the envelope before returning the
envelope to school. Cheques should be made out to The School Photographer. If paying by
cash please enclose the correct money as the envelopes are handed directly to the school
photographer on the day and not opened by office staff.
Goulburn Mulwaree Council is hosting the return of
Big Air School BMX Day
When: Sunday 18th May 2014
Where: BMX Track – Avoca Street
Time: 12pm – 4pm
Cost: FREE!
 Professional Riders
Big Air School will provide Helmets, Dirt
Scooters and Academy BMX bikes
 Demonstrations by elite riders
 Competitions and plenty of giveaways and
prizes
 Free BBQ
 Helmet checks will be conducted
 10 BMX Helmets to give away on the day

GEPS Playgroup Update
Recommencing Monday 26th May from 9:25 - 11:00am in the School Hall
We have been advised that Therese Sheahan has been newly appointed to the
position of Playgroup Coordinator. Playgroup will NOT be held next week, but will
recommence at Goulburn East on Monday 26th May.

NOTES AND PAYMENTS REMINDER
 District Cross Country is on next Monday! Notes and payment of $5 should be
returned to the office by tomorrow please.
 Gymnastics has started for Term 2. All notes and payments were due at the end of last
term. Any outstanding notes and payments must be handed to the office tomorrow
for students to be able to participate in the Gymnastics program on Friday.
 Bookclub – all orders were due in today. Orders will be processed tomorrow and
should be back at school by next week.
 School Photos – envelopes can be returned to school up until photo day, but it is
advisable to send them earlier so there are no issues with forgotten orders on the day.
 Musica Viva – notes and payment of $7.50 due back by Monday 19th May
Free Microsoft and Adobe Software for Students
All NSW Department of Education and Communities students are eligible to download
and licence Adobe and Microsoft software through the Department. This software is only
available to download onto personally owned devices.
Students will need to use their @education.nsw.gov.au student email address to register
on their first visit. To register, click on the “Sign In” link at the top of the page and then
click on the REGISTER button. A verification email will be sent to your DEC email address.

Orders for Winter Jackets
The P & C are currently taking orders for warm parkas for winter. They are royal blue in
colour, water resistant on the outside, polar fleece on the inside. They also have a hood
and a number of external pockets. A sample is on display in the school office. They are
available for $35 in sizes 6-16.
All orders and money must be paid to the office before Thursday 22nd May. As this is
for the P & C, orders and correct payment should be placed in a separate envelope
from other school payments and labelled School Jacket Order.
