Band Biog
Gmf are a three piece band establishing themselves as a young , energetic group and have been wowing crowds for the past couple of years
with their unique blend of rock, pop and spiritual.
The band is made up of sisters Danni 16 (drums) and Stephanie 14
(lead vocals/keyboards) and brother Joshua 13 (vocals/bass/electric)
This brother sister combination creates a great blend of vocals enabling
them to produce a strong and versatile sound.
Gmf have toured most states in Australia playing at churches, schools
and festivals. In 2007 the band traveled to Uganda Africa and held three
nights of crusades in Jinja at which they reported over 30,000 attended.
Most of the crowds were young orphans and the band got to visit orphanages. This experience was a turning point for the young band. Continuing their travels to Canada, GMF
had the opportunity to be interviewed
on the Christian TV program,”It’s a New
Day” and played two of their original
songs. This was aired all over Canada
in March 2008 and received good feed
back from viewers.
In July 2008 , GMF travelled to Sydney to start recording their first album, “Ride of Life”. These eleven original songs written by Danni and
Joshua are songs about life and the material gathered through their
travels. Produced by Luke Munns ,this album has
taken their quality up a level and provides an exciting fresh and young sound. GMF recently won
the Grand Final of the AMP “Search for a Star”
band and solo competition in Adelaide and their
music was nominated as Top 5 Finalists at the
Musicoz Awards 2008 Christian category. On December 21st 2008, GMF performed at the Adelaide Carols by Candlelight at Elder Park to over
35,000 people.

VICTOR HARBOR - The Palombi household can make claim to not one but three up
and coming music stars.Twelve-year-old Joshua, 14-year-old Stephanie and 16year-old Danni were recently unearthed by the Cora Barclay Search for a Star
competition.The young and energetic three-piece band, known as Gmf, took out top
honours in the band category.
They won the chance to play at this year’s Carols by Candlelight, where they will
showcase their musical talents in Elder Park on December 21.
"At first I didn't believe it, I had to read the email again," Stephanie said.
"We're all very excited." Joshua was also crowned the top solo performer, winning a
$20,000 video clip from Young Australia Productions. Describing their music as a
blend of rock, pop and spiritual, the Victor Harbor High School and R-7 school students play both covers and original material. After only two years playing together,
Gmf has toured almost every state in Australia, playing at churches, schools and
festivals.
Their parents, Tony and Annette, and younger brother, Timothy, who prefers football, said they were very proud of the trio. "They're having fun and that's the main
thing," Tony said."But they're also learning a lot of work ethics; they're writing music, practising their music and entertaining people, and putting back into the community”.

SA Schools
GMF has been endorsed by SMG which is responsible to provide services to every school in the state of South Australia. Over the next year
GMF will be playing to students across the suburbs and regional areas.
This gives them exposure to their community and shares their music to a
young audience.
Ride of Life Tour
GMF plans to tour their album in 2009. The family will hook up the trailer
and travel to NSW, VIC as well as SA.
