To our participants… Allen parks and Recreation hosts this annual event to offer a recreational activity as part of its traditional holiday festivities. Family participation in the Rudolph Run is a great way to encourage fitness and relieve a little season stress! We greatly appreciate your participation in the Rudolph Run which is held in conjunction with the City of Allen’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Friday, December 3 at City Hall. Dogs on a leash and strollers are welcome. All pre‐registered participants receive a souvenir event T‐shirt. Entry Packet Pick-Up December 1‐3, a.m.‐p.m. at Luke’s Locker (Watters Creek, see address above). If you are unable to pick up your packet prior to the race, packets will be available Race Day on‐site 7‐8 a.m. Parking/Start & Finish Please park in the First Baptist Church parking lot adjacent to the Heritage Center. The start and finish for the 5K and Fun Run will be marked at 102 Main St. in front of Don Rodenbaugh's Appliance Store. The race and run course will continue along Cedar Drive through Allen Station Park with appropriate turning points marked. 5K Rudolph Run The Rudolph Run is a competitive 5K race open to all ages. All pre‐registered participants receive a souvenir event T‐shirt. Entry fee is based on registration date: $20 (thru 11/28), $25 (after 11/28) & $30 (race day). Awards Only pre‐registered participants receive a souvenir event T‐shirt. A $100 prize will be given to the overall male and female as well as the overall Master’s male and female. Medals will be given to the top three finishers in each of the following age categories: 7 & under, 8‐10, 11‐14, 15‐19, 20‐24, 25‐29, 30‐34, 35‐39, 40‐44, 45‐49, 50‐54, 55‐59, 60‐64, 65‐69, 70‐74, 75+, Master’s (40+). Chips are disposable and will be attached to your bib. If you misplace your bib/chip prior to the race, you will be charged a replacement fee. I, the undersigned, hereby understand and agree that this activity involves certain risks; and I hereby waive any and all claims against the City of Allen Parks and Recreation Department, their agents, employees, staff, volunteers, sponsors and organizations for any accident or injury that I may sustain while participating in the activity. Inclement Weather Cancellation will occur in extreme weather circumstances. There will be no refunds and your entry fee will be used as a donation.
