There are certain tracks which you have to feel in your
stomach first. “Bulldozer” (A1) is one of them. While the last
Moon Harbour singles offered some hit potential when looking
closely enough, it’s obvious this time in Tanzmann’s first single
in about a year. “Bulldozer” is the equivalent to Matthias
Tanzmann’s highly active DJ-schedule: It puts the vibe of his
DJ sets into seven minutes – the groove, the tense
atmosphere, this slowly releasing of an acid line. That surely is
no stuff for couch potatoes! Play it loud and you’ll have no
further questions…
Es gibt Tracks, die man zuerst im Bauch entdeckt. „Bulldozer“
(A1) ist einer von denen. War bei den letzten Moon HarbourMaxis spätestens auf den zweiten Blick das Hitpotential
erkennbar, funktioniert dieses Muster auf der ersten reinen
Tanzmann-Maxi seit über einem Jahr einfach nicht. Denn
„Bulldozer“ trägt dem umtriebigen DJ-Dasein von Matthias
Tanzmann Rechnung und packt den Vibe seiner Sets in pralle
sieben Minuten. Der dichte Groove, dieser lange
Spannungsbogen, die sich quälend langsam öffnende AcidLine – so was hat einfach nicht vor, Couches zu rocken. Spiel
es laut, der Rest erklärt sich dann von selbst.
