ART WIZARDS SOUTH SOUND EVERYONE CAN DRAW SUMMER DRAWING PROGRAM Art Wizards presents the South Sound Summer Art Program. The overwhelming majority of adults in this country never learned to draw. When asked to draw a house, they draw the same one they drew at age 7. These adults were never exposed to the basics of fine art. That’s what we teach. Using a variety of media, (oil and chalk pastels, watercolor, markers and pencil), we’ll draw birds and animals, creatures of the sea, favorite movie and cartoon characters and mythical creatures such as dragons and unicorns. We’ll show our students what and how to practice so their progress continues. Classes this summer include June 25th-28th or August 20th-23rd at Sunrise Elementary for grades 1-6. Tuition is $110.00 for 4 days and includes snacks and all materials. Flyers are available in the information rack outside of the front office. These classes tend to fill up quickly, so register early! Register by email at register@artwizards.org. or call Ilene Adler, Ph.D. at (206) 525-6075. POSITIVE LUNCH MONEY BALANCES Positive lunch balances will carry over into the next school year. This will occur automatically, even if your child will be attending a different school within the Kent School District. This also includes secondary schools. To add money to your child’s account, please go to the Kent School District website and follow the link to Lunch Money Now. MOVING THIS SUMMER? If you are moving this summer and your student(s) will not be returning to Lake Youngs in the fall of 2012, please fill out this slip and return it to the Lake Youngs front office. Thank You!
