The Subject
A technical highlight in red: the 5th International motorcycle conference will take place with strong
support of Ducati in Emilia Romagna – also the cradle of Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini.
The program includes:
- excellent presentations of future motorcycle development in different perspectives offered by
well-known experts from Ducati (about 1199 Panigale and about Desmodromic), Bosch (about
motorcycle sensors), University of Graz (about direct injection for motorcycles and about Range
Extender for two wheeler applications), ThyssenKrupp (about modern cylinder heads), KTM (about
strength analysis at motorcycles), Pirelli (about motorcycle tires), Shell (about future fuels for motorcycles), University of Zwickau (about advanced motorcycle development) and others
- visit of the Ducati production workshops with presentation of new motorcycle types
- visit of the legendary Ducati Museum
- visit of the new opened exposition about Desmodromic
The conference will take place in the splendid Villa “Il Giardino” in Budrio, which combines classical architecture with very modern technical supplies. The restaurant of the same Villa is an exponent of the Italian cuisine.
Good hotels in the vicinity of the Villa “Il Giardino” and the Bologna Airport, which is very near, are
a good base for this top event..

Haus der Technik (HDT) may charge an administration fee of E 30,- for any change or cancellation of registration.
HDT-members are exempted from this charge. Cancellations must be received at HDT in writing, by e-mail or fax
up to 7 days prior to the event. Cancellations received later the full fee will be charged. The programme is subject
to amendment. In the unlikely event of it being cancelled for reasons beyond the control of HDT, registrations
fees already paid will be refunded, less any administration costs incurred.
