APPLICATION
Dowty Engineered Seals material reference 8809 is based upon silicone rubber (VMQ). Therefore it
has excellent resistance to compression set and degradation at high temperature, and will remain
flexible at very low temperatures. It is also resistant to many chemicals including heavy mineral
oils and some diester oils, and specifically oxygen and ozone.
