In order to book a course you should send a registration form either by post or electronically to s·a·e·s. By booking a course you are deemed to have agreed to s·a·e·s’ terms and conditions. 1. 2. Once we have received your registration form we will send you a booking conirmation and invoice as soon as reasonably practicable. 2. Payment of Course Fees 2. 1. 10% of the course fees as well as any travel or transfer costs arranged by s·a·e·s on your behalf are payable on receipt of our invoice. 2. 2. The remaining course fees are payable four weeks before the start date of your chosen course at the latest. 2. 3. Please state the name of the student attending the course as well as the start date of your chosen course with every payment. 3. Changing your Booking 3. 1. Subject to availability you can change your booking without charge anytime before the start date of your chosen course. 4. Cancellation 4. 1. If you wish to cancel your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. You can cancel your booking free of charge up to four weeks before the start of your chosen course. We will reimburse any payments you have already made less any disbursements that s·a·e·s has made to third parties on your behalf. We will use our reasonable endeavours to minimise such costs. 4. 2. If you cancel your booking less than four weeks but more than two weeks before the start of your chosen course, a fee equal to 35% of the total course fees will become payable. 4. 3. If you cancel your booking less than two weeks before the start date of your chosen course but before such start date, a fee equal to 50% of the total course fees will become payable. 4. 4. In the event of non-attendance at your chosen course without cancellation before the start date, the full course fees will be payable. 5. Liability 5. 1. s·a·e·s’ liability shall not exceed such amount as is equal to three times the course fees for your chosen course, save that nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit s·a·e·s’ liability for death or personal injury caused by the gross negligence of s·a·e·s. 5. 2. In the event of a potential breach of contract by s·a·e·s, please notify us as soon as you become aware of any such breach in order to allow s·a·e·s to remedy the breach and / or to mitigate any damage arising from such breach. 5. 3. s·a·e·s shall not be liable for any breach of which you were aware but did not notify s·a·e·s of, if such breach could have been remedied, had s·a·e·s known of such breach. 6. Course Rules and Rules of Conduct 6. 1. The student taking part in a course ofered by s·a·e·s agrees to comply with the course rules and the s·a·e·s rules of con- duct, details of which will be sent to you together with the course materials and / or given to the student on arrival. The purpose of these rules is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students and to create an efective learning environment. Parents are therefore asked to ensure that students are aware of these rules and the importance of following them. 6. 2. In the event of a serious or repeated failure on behalf of a student to follow the course rules and the rules of conduct, s·a·e·s may ask the student to leave the course if, in the opinion of s·a·e·s, the behaviour of the student adversely afects the safety and wellbeing of other students or interferes with the learning of others. 7. Changes to Activities and Timetable 7. 1. s·a·e·s will not be liable for any changes to the course which may become necessary for reasons which are outside of s·a·e·s’ control. However, s·a·e·s is keen to ensure that your course meets your expectations. If an activity or other service ofered by s·a·e·s has to be cancelled, s·a·e·s will use its reasonable endeavours to ofer a suitable alternative or make changes to the itinery to enable the lesson, activity or trip to take place at another time or another day. 8. Insurance 8. 1. s·a·e·s recommends that you take out appropriate travel insurance for your trip. 8. 2.
