Four or five camps are planned of 2 to 3 weeks duration in summer involving
hard physical labor, e .g . cleaning up debris in a city slum, building com­
munity centers or cooperative housing units, renovation, etc. Fees: $1,00
per day for room and board.

1958 through May, 1959. Open to all if 15 years of age or older. Come only
for the full week-end, from 6:15 Friday until 3:00 P.M. Sunday. Costs 13.75

India engaged in various aspects of village development work, road construct­
ion, sanitation drives, etc. The states in which BSS activity will be great­
est are: Andhra, Assam, Bihar, Bombay, Kerala, Madras, Madhya Prodesh,
Mysore, Orissa, Panjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal, The
Bharat Sevak Samaj is organizing various types of camps adapted to the needs
of different groups of youth such as :
