ACTING AGAINST ETHNIC DISCRIMINATION IN EMPLOYMENT Euro-Platform European conference Maison de la Mutualité Paris 22 and 23 November 2007 Palette of Projects Employers Employment Intermediaries Local and Regional Actors Non-governmental / Non-profit Organisations Employee representatives Media This directory could not have been compiled without the active and enthusiastic involvement of the Equal project promoters who took part in the “Peer Review Seminars”, organised within the framework of the European Platform on Fighting Ethnic Discrimination in Employment, or that of the members of the Steering Committee who put together the summaries concerning The tools and strategies for the projects. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to all of them. This bilingual publication (English/French) has been designed to be reader-friendly. The projects are classified by type of actors: actors in enterprises, local and regional actors, non profit-making and non-governmental organisations, employment and training intermediaries, employee representatives, media. There is a different colour for each! Within each section, The projects are classified alphabetically by country. Each page contains the project strategy adopted, and the tools developed by the project, as well as the contact details. Please be aware that certain projects participated in several seminars: this is the case particularly for the “Nobi”, “Kumulus Plus”, “MigraNet”, “Promenio” and “Empléate” projects. Thus, in order to avoid any repetition, these projects have been included in the “Non profit-making and non-governmental organisations” chapter. Furthermore, the “Horizons”, “Network for the Promotion of Interculturalism” and “Community of Goodwill” projects participated in the “Enterprises” seminar (“Horizons”) and in the “Local and regional actors” seminar (the other two). Despite this, we have chosen to place them in the “Media” chapter here since their content also corresponds to this classification, and they will participate in the Interactive Forum on media on 23 November. This directory is both your address book and, in the short term, your guide to the project exhibition which will be taking place over these two days!
