Appropriate bathing attire is required. 4 Directions by Water Coral Reef Yacht Club is located in the waterfront section of Coconut Grove on the western shore of Biscayne Bay. On your charts, look for Dinner Key Marina in Coconut Grove, south of the Rickenbacker Causeway leading across the Bay to Key Biscayne. There are two major approaches to the Club: one through Dinner Key Main Channel, which allows for an 8' depth, and the second, slightly to its north, known as the Seaplane Channel, a privately maintained channel of 5' depth. If you are approaching CRYC from the south, head north and aim at downtown Miami until you get to Donovan’s Mark to the entrance of the Main Dinner Key Channel. The safe entry point for the Dinner Key entrance to Coconut Grove is N25.42.98 W080.12.40. If your boat draws more than 5’, you will want to enter here at a heading of 330°. Once you are close to the docks, go to the right and stay close to the boats. When you have rounded the docks (Dinner Key), you will then stay on the left side of the basin. You will pass docks with a Shell gas station, the entrance to Shake-A-Leg Miami, the Monty’s docks, Biscayne Bay Yacht Club docks and then you will be approaching the CRYC docks. If you are boating south from downtown Miami, you will pass under the Rickenbacker Causeway Bridge and head toward the Quick Flash Mark. You are getting close to Coconut Grove. The safe entry point for the Seaplane Channel entrance is N25.42.13 W080.12.57. This Seaplane Channel is the northernmost Coconut Grove entry channel. There is a dolphin (4 piling marker with a light) marking the entrance to this channel. Turn right at a heading of 330° aiming toward the tall SBS building (the tallest on the north side of Coconut Grove) with Monty’s in front of it. Start to turn right when 100 yards from the docks. Do not cut the corner as it is shallow. You will pass by the Biscayne Bay Yacht Club docks and then you will be approaching the CRYC docks. 5 Coral Reef Yacht Club Welcomes Florida Council of Yacht Clubs SCHEDULE OF EVENTS Friday, September 9th, 2016 12:00pm - 6:00pm Registration - Lobby 6:00pm - 7:00pm Cocktails - Veranda/Dinning Room 7:00pm - 10:00pm Island Dinner Buffet - Dining Room Saturday, September 10th, 2016 8:00am - 10:30am Breakfast* - Angler’s Reef Grille 9:00am - 10:00am 10:00am - 3:00pm Late Registration - Lobby Tour to the PAMM & Lunch at La Rosa Restaurant* 10:00am - 12:00pm Executive Meeting 12:00pm - 1:00pm Directors Lunch Buffet 1:00pm - 2:30pm Director Meeting 3:00pm - 3:30pm Coast Guard & Fleet Captain Meeting 3:30pm - 4:00pm Government Affairs Meeting 4:00pm - 5:00pm General Meeting 6:00pm - 6:45pm Cocktails Reception 6:45pm - 7:00pm Flag Lowering Ceremony 7:00pm - 11:00pm Dinner and Dancing Sunday, September 11th, 2016 8:00am - 10:30am 11:30am - 2:30pm Breakfast* - Angler’s Reef Grille Sunday Jazz Brunch* - Dining Room 6 Dining Room Dining and Activities Friday, September 9th: Island Dinner Buffet - Dining Room 7:00pm to 10:00pm SALADS Tossed Island Green with Cilantro-Lime Vinaigrette Tomato and Avocado Shrimp, Black Beans and Mango ENTREES Carved Pork Island Style Caribbean Smoked Chicken Grilled Mahi Mahi with Citrus Salsa White Rice and Black Beans, Fried Plantains Grilled Vegetables, Tropical Fruit Sabayon $30 plus tax & gratuity Saturday, September 10th: Directors Lunch - Dining Room 12:00pm - 1:00pm SALADS Orzo | Caprese | Assorted Greens | Fresh Fruit SANDWICHES Sliced Roasted Sirloin Smoked Ham Grilled Chicken Tuna Salad Swiss Cheese & Aged Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomatoes, Onions & Pickles, Mustard - Mayonnaise Whole Grain Bread, White Bread, Panini Cookies & Brownies $18 plus tax & gratuity 7 Saturday, September 10th: Tour to the Perez Art Museum (PAMM) 1103 Biscayne Blvd, Miami, FL 33132 www.pamm.org 305 375 3000 The Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) is a modern and contemporary art museum dedicated to collecting and exhibiting international art of the 20th and 21st centuries.
