Marley came to us at 6 months of age. He wasn’t exactly the most handsome pup but one look into
his dark brown eyes was all it took to know he was special. It didn’t take long for him to wrap us around
his big paws. Our less than handsome puppy grew into a beautiful dog. Marley was a rich mahogany red
brindle that stood 25.5 inches tall and weighed a muscular 140 lbs. His headpiece was rather plain but large
which was a good thing since his ears were a tad bit large as well. Overall, He was a very balanced dog.
Marley was the top brindle bullmastiff in 2003, 2004, and 2005. He was also a top ten bullmastiff
in 2003 and 2004. His greatest accomplishments went beyond the show ring for he was truly an ambassador
for the breed. His gentle nature, calm demeanor and soulful look naturally drew people towards him. Marley was always up for a tummy rub and wasn’t shy about asking for one!
Marley’s offspring have made us proud not only through their own accomplishments but for possessing his greatest attribute, his wonderful temperament. Although Marley is no longer with us, he has left a
permanent mark in our hearts as a “once in a lifetime” dog.
We miss him dearly.
