Pregnancy counselling and midwifery
Dear patient
A pregnancy and the weeks after giving birth are a time of great change. New life
circumstances affect social security matters and employment issues (child care allowance and
maternity benefits) and may require additional support measures (paediatric nursing, child care
for siblings, etc.).
We offer
• Contact person for employment and social security related questions, including advice and
assistance in claims enforcement
• Assistance in selecting and organising support services such as outpatient midwife care and
family helpers
• Information regarding child care allowance, maternity leave, paternity acknowledgement and
alimony payments
• Financial advice and assistance in locating a suitable place to live
• Information and referral to an appropriate advice centre in case of domestic violence
• Advice and counselling for mothers and their dependants
