Special offer: O2 on Business with landline number for
mobile phones
MUNICH. Telefónica O2 Germany has launched a special offer for its business
customers. Customers who apply for the landline option O2 Genion on tariff O2
on Business by 30 November will receive the call forwarding feature for free
during the term of the contract. With this offer business customers can be
reached on their mobile phones throughout Germany via a landline number.
In addition to a mobile phone number, O2 Genion also provides business customers
with their own landline number, which they can use within the Homezone to make
and receive phone calls at extremely favourable conditions. This means that phone
calls made from the Homezone to most European countries as well as the USA and
Canada are free of charge. If a customer is located outside of the Homezone, calls
made to their landline number will be forwarded to their mobile phone for free within
Germany. This call forwarding feature would normally cost 7.50 Euros per month
(net).
This offer is especially interesting for medium-sized companies, self-employed
persons and freelancers who travel frequently but would still like to be contactable via
a landline number. “Our special offer matches the requirements of modern business
customers perfectly”, explains Johannes Pruchnow, Managing Director Business at
Telefónica O2 Germany. “With O2 on Business and the Genion special offer people
can work everywhere independently from the office with their mobile phones and
mobile Internet, whilst remaining contactable at all times via their landline number at
favourable conditions.”
The O2 on Business tariff allows business customers to make an unlimited number of
phone calls within all German networks and provides mobile Internet access via their
smartphones for 29 Euros per month (net). Until now, the options O2 Genion and O2
Genion Weiterleitung were available together for 15 Euros (net).
