The Edinburg Valle Verde Program was originally launched by the City of Edinburg in the fall of 2006 to encourage both home and business owners to use native trees, shrubs and plants in the landscape and also promote the use of mulch, compost, drip-irrigation, rain-water harvesting and other landscape conservation measures which conserve water and save money. www.edinburg.com PAGE 2 V O LU M E 1 , ISSU E 1 RIBBON CUTTINGS & Ground Breakings... Ask a Chamber Expert Most of us plan ahead in life. We plan for our wedding, our children's education, family vacations, and other significant expected life events. We also plan for the unexpected events of life by purchasing home, auto and medical insurance. Understanding the benefits of preplanning has prompted many to take the step to plan their own arrangements. Please call us at (956) 787-1415 to set up an appointment to discuss pre-planning with a caring professional. This FREE service carries with it NO OBLIGATION, and is designed specifically to provide you with helpful information about pre- planning. Many who have undergone the emotional strain of arranging a funeral within hours of losing a loved one have made the choice to pre-plan their own funeral. Doing so lifts the burden from their loved ones by relieving decision-making pressure at a time of grief and emotional stress. www.memorialfuneral.com Leadership Edinburg Class XXI Discovers...
