Fees collected at entry booth:
Class fee: $6.00
NCWHA office charge per horse: $2.00
WBS Grounds fee: $4.00
Each horse / rider back tag number:$1.00 (used for all season)
NO REFUNDS once entry is handed in at the entry booth, including tabs.
Show held rain or shine . NCWHA and WSHC rules apply. 4-H members may ride in other classes. 4-H rules apply for 4-H classes(required helmet,,etc.)
Awards: 1st - 6th place. Special Awards for Tiny Tot classes.
The Wausau Boot and Saddle club are not responsible for personal or animal injury, property damage, accidents ,or loss of any kind to anyone / thing on the grounds.
ALL horses on the grounds are required to have a current negative COGGINS. A representative will show the original and provide a copy for office files.
FOOD STAND ON GROUNDS
Rider or horse age (Junior or Senior) groups are as of 1-1-14. A Junior horse (5 yrs and younger) must have proof of age ( vet statement or registration papers)
and provide a copy for the NCWHA File folder before the start of any entered Junior class. This folder is brought to each show and the copy is good for the show
season. Boots must be worn for all classes. Stallion (except weanling) handlers must be 19 yrs or over. All dogs must be on a leash.
Three Traveling Trophies:
The Helen Brandenburg Award (details posted at entry booth- ride off of top 2 places from each of the selected English Pleasure classes)
The Jerry Berard Memorial Award (winner of Pony Western Pleasure).
The Gene Zientara Memorial award (winner of Intermediate Western Pleasure)

subject to Wisconsin Equine Liability Law which states:
A person who is engaged for compensation in the rental of
equine equipment or tack or in the instruction of a person in
the riding or driving of an equine or being a passenger upon
an equine is not liable for the injury or death of a person
involved in equine activities resulting from the inherent risks of
equine activities as defined in section 895.481 (1).

West up the hill until the stoplights at Westwood

Drive. Turn rt/North on Westwood ( between office
buildings on opposite corners) and proceed slowly
LUNCH BREAK- OPEN ARENA- Last 10 minutes for Junior Horses ONLY
about 1/3 mile. Turn left/West on West Wausau Ave.
The show grounds are at this street’s dead end.
***Open 4-H and any Age Rider Clinic planned for Sat., July 26th at Wausau Boot & Saddle (WBS) Club grounds.
