It started off as a bet between Bubba and I to see how long it takes to get to the Mason-Dixon. (*Note to self: Never borrow a map from
a roadhouse bar; they have different points of interest!) We ended up across the south, collecting the best, most potent & unique cocktails
we could find. From the rolling hills of Kentucky to the tip of the Keys & beyond, here are the recipes & their stories.
• Sangria Made with fresh fruit. Refreshing as it is tasty!
• Texas Margarita The only way to drink a margarita is with premium gold tequila and Grand Marnier! That’s what the man with the rodeo
championship belt told us. Nice guy, awfully ugly belt.
• The Hurricane Light & dark rum in a tropical whirlwind of juices. Don’t batten down the hatches for this storm - Laissez les bon temps rouler!
• Goombay Smash We discovered this one while cruising through the Bahamas last winter break. We brought this back as our Bohemian
souvenir to share with y’all. Coconut, light and dark rum with pineapple and OJ.
• Swamp Water Rum, melon liqueur and fresh juices. While down in the bayou and ‘ol boy named Bobby Booshay gave us a swig of his
“Swamp Water.” As they say, “when in the bayou, do as the bayou’enns.” At least we think they said that!
• Kentucky Cooler Any y’all ever spike a watermelon with vodka? A reminder of the easy life when all you needed was a couple of inner
tubes and a lazy river.
• Fuzzy Navel in Overalls Our take on the fuzzy navel. A bartender in Memphis helped us with this name and then offered to show us his.

• Strawberry Fields Forever Y’all ever drank a rainbow before? Well, this ‘bout as close as yah get. Strawberry moonshine, lemon infused
syrup, and a splash of southern sweet tea.
• Georgia-Main Found this one while we were broke down in Macon. White lightnin’, fresh juice, and a slice of red bell pepper. Y’all get
your fruits and veggies in one serving.
• Carolina Coolwater That southern heat is hot now! This concoction of peach moonshine, OJ, and pineapple juice is like having your own
shade tree.
• Tennessee Moon Pie Apple & caramel moonshine and Sprite. We’ll thank Grandma Smith for yah... For the shine, not the apples.
• Palmetto Punch Blueberry moonshine, vanilla schnapps and fresh juices. That’s what they call this one around these parts.
