Hall Crystal Flutes are unique musical instruments with beautiful tones and elegant designs. Both beginner
and accomplished musicians find them delightful because of their crystal clear tone quality. Hall Crystal
Flutes are hand crafted using Borosylicate glass and are decorated with kiln-fired glass enamels and 22k
gold, making each flute a work of art itself.
Hall Crystal Flutes make great impulse sale items year around and also make popular gift items for
Christmas, birthdays and other special occasions.
Each flute is carefully hand tuned and shaped with a modern Boehm taper to produce a note range of two
and one half octaves. Included with each flute is a fingering chart, dark green gift box, and a one year
manufacturer’s full warranty against accidental breakage.

Our highest pitched and smallest piccolo makes clean crisp sounds softer and mellower than the
silver piccolo. The D piccolo plays one note higher than our C piccolo. Both piccolos are great
for small hands, for the fingering holes are placed closer together than on our other flutes
making it easier to cover the tone holes. The piccolo, being a higher pitched instrument,
requires a tighter embouchure than the larger flutes.

Our middle sized flute produces a tone that is a cross between the piccolo and the D flute. The
tone holes are spaced such that an average teen or women’s sized hand can cover them. This is
a good choice for the novice flutist.

Our F flute has a fingering stretch that is just slightly larger than the G flute. The tone carries
some of the warmer, deeper tone qualities of the D Flute. While slightly larger than the G flute,
this flute should still be playable by an average teen or women’s sized hand.

This flute is very close in size and tone to our large D flute. It plays just one halfstep higher
than the D flute. It is in the same key as the saxophone, so it is great for Jazz solos or playing

Our largest flute produces deep and beautiful mellow tones. This flute is highly recommended
for the adult professional and novice players alike. The D flute is the easiest to play providing

flute’s tone is deeper and mellower than our smaller flutes.

The Hall Crystal Flute cleaning rod is a quality tool,
made from 100% cotton flannel over a foam core. It is
designed to fit the bore of each flute. Only one pass is
needed to remove accumulated moisture and restore
the flute's clear tone. Cleaning rods come in three

HALL DULCIMER NOTERS
Hall dulcimer noters are made of borosylicate glass with
beautiful kiln-fired Celtic decorations. Glass noters produce
a unique hammered sound and have a "fast" action
compared to wooden noters. Glass noters produce a bright
sound and you hear distinctive sliding tones. They are not
quiet and not meant to replace your wooden noters. With
some songs, you will prefer a quiet wooden noter, while
other songs will be enhanced by the percussive sound of
glass and will add a whole new dimensions to your dulcimer

Hall Panpipes have a two octave range. These elegant
instruments are made of borosylicate glass and are
decorated with kiln-fired glass enamels and some of
our decorations contain 22 kt gold. Each panpipe tube
is closed on the bottom with a permanent glass seal
instead of sliding corks. This makes the tuning
permanent and also looks better. The panpipe tubes
are assembled using clear epoxy for a durable bond.

ongstone ocarinas are beautiful musical instruments that can be worn like
a pendant. They are easy to play and have a great sound. Each ocarina is
handmade by the renowned, John Langley in England. They are decorated
with a Celtic motif permanently stamped into the clay. Then a ceramic glaze is
applied to the surface and kiln fired to a high gloss. The tuning is excellent.
Included with each ocarina are a gift box, a fingering chart with two songs, and a
pendant cord. Songstones make a great musical gift for that musical someone on
your gift list. They are the ultimate in portable instruments. When worn about the
neck, they are always ready to play at a moment’s notice.

It’s our 40th Anniversary
I started making handmade crystal flutes in 1974 at the
age of 19. As a young college student, I first made
bamboo flutes for Christmas presents. While working on a
chemistry major and learning some basic glass working
skills, I had the idea of making a flute out of glass. It took
about a week to come up with the first crude prototype.
After playing this first flute I became so enchanted with its
tone that I challenged myself to learn the glassblowing
skills necessary to perfect this instrument.

Crystal Flute myself.
