Athletic Department News
Hello all from Epping High School Athletics. Punxsutawney Phil has forecasted six more weeks of winter – with the rate of snowstorms we have been experiencing, Phil seems to be right. Our basketball seasons are winding down, and the state tournaments
are right around the corner.
The winter sports recognition night is scheduled for March 18, at 6:30pm in the cafeteria.
The department would like to send a reminder out to all spring sport parents to make sure physicals are up to date for the upcoming season. All students wishing to try-out must have a current physical, within the last two years, on file in the nurse’s office.
Spring athletes can obtain physical/consent agreement form in the main office or, from Mr. Averill.
Awards
Epping High School athletes continue to garner awards from state organizations. Most recently Brittney Bullock, Cassidy Garrow,
Shelby Martin, Jamie Roy, Kelly Seaman, Jillian Venuti, and Josh Venuti were recognized by the New Hampshire Athletic Directors
Association and the NHIAA as Male and Female Scholar Athletes. This award is given to seniors who participate in at least two varsity sports while maintaining a B+ average throughout their high school career.
