This is the ninth time in the past 10 years that the Eye has been America’s most watched network! CBS finished the season with 11.74 million viewers, nearly three million more than its nearest competitor (Fox). CBS also placed first in A25-54 and, for the sixth consecutive year, second in A18-49 -- with more viewers in that demo than NBC and ABC. In viewers, CBS had nine of the Top 10 dramas: NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, THE MENTALIST, PERSON OF INTEREST, CRIMINAL MINDS, CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, BLUE BLOODS, UNFORGETTABLE and THE GOOD WIFE. The Network also had eight of the top 10 comedies, including THE BIG BANG THEORY, TWO AND A HALF MEN, MIKE & MOLLY, 2 BROKE GIRLS, RULES OF ENGAGEMENT and HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER. Compared to last season, CBS posted growth not only in viewers but also in A18-49 and A25-54. CBS UNVEILS UNIQUE, FAR-REACHING "THANK YOU FANS" CAMPAIGN Plus CBS had…. More time period-winning programs than all the other networks combined in viewers (13), A25-54 (15) and A18-49 (12). Six of the top 20 programs among A18-49 (tied for most of any network). And .... Was the #1 network in DVR lift, averaging an additional +1.40 million viewers with 7-day playback. (Source: NTI 9/19/11-5/20/12) (Continued on page 3) 2 IN THE CAMERA EYE On Sunday, May 20, on a special broadcast -- “March of the Living: Return to Auschwitz” -- CBS4 Miami joined three Holocaust survivors for an emotional visit to the infamous Nazi concentration camp in Poland. On the broadcast CBS4 reporter Ted Scouten (above) walked side-by-side with these individuals to hear their firsthand accounts of life in the camp where more than 1.5 million men, women and children were murdered, either in gas chambers or by being brutally worked to death. The half hour special included exclusive footage shot on-site during this sacred pilgrimage of remembrance. As Pocket Books does in print, Pocket Star will continue to feature bestselling and debut authors in popular genres, including women's fiction, romance, thrillers, urban fantasy and mystery. The imprint is launching with titles from its Spring and Summer lists, featuring authors V. C. Andrews, Nathan Dodge, Cindy Gerard, Laura Griffin, Sabrina Jeffries, Carrie Lofty and Michael R. Underwood, among others. Lauren McKenna, Executive Editor, has been named Editorial Director of Pocket Star and will oversee all content. CBS FILMS THE WOMAN IN BLACK, the hit CBS Films ghost story starring Daniel Radcliffe that scared up more than $53 million at the box office, was released on Blu-ray and DVD by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment on May 22. The Blu-ray and DVD both include commentary by the writer and the director as well as two all-new featurettes: "Inside The Perfect Thriller: Making ‘Woman in Black,’" a discussion with the filmmakers and cast; and "No Fear: Daniel Radcliffe as Arthur Kipps," in which Radcliffe discusses the most challenging and interesting parts of playing this character. RENEWALS: In May, CBS Studios International and Telecom Italia announced a non-exclusive licensing agreement that allows subscribers to now instantly stream CBS ##### content in Italy on its Cubovision platform -- Telecom Italia's brand for a multi-device home entertainment environment. The new on-demand service, called “CBS,” is the first branded subscription channel from CBS Studios International in the Italian market and includes the streaming of early seasons of CBS, SHOWTIME and The CW shows like NCIS, DEXTER, NURSE JACKIE and 90210, as well as full seasons of classics such as "Star Trek: Enterprise." ...
