How to apply the First Month Free Promotion spiff
Overview
This Step Action Guide (SAG) will outline the process for offering a First
Month Free customer Spiff for “Eligible New Subscriber Activations”.
There are 5 main steps to perform this function.
1. Once activating a new Boost subscriber via the Sales Portal, capture
the ‘Activation Request Number’ during the activation process OR
locate the ESN on the subscriber’s device.
2. Select the applicable Boost 1st Month Promo PIN via epay’s
WebPOS.
3. Enter in the ‘Activation Request Number’ OR the ‘ESN’ and the
customer’s new 4 digit security PIN.
4. Select ‘Purchase’.
5. Select ‘Print Receipt’ (the PIN number will be printed on the receipt).

1. Capture the ‘Activation Request Number’ in the pop-up (example
below) that is displayed during the activation process in Sales Portal.
After the dealer selects submit to activate the customer’s handset, the
dealer will receive a pop-up message for a short period of time
displaying the Activation Request Number. The dealer will need to
capture the Activation Request Number so it can to be used in
WebPOS when requesting a Boost Mobile 1st Month Promo PIN.
2. OR locate the ESN/MEID on the subscriber’s physical device.

6. Choose the Activation Identifier from the dropdown box (Activation
Number and 4-digit Account PIN or ESN and 4-digit Account PIN) and
input the required information. NOTE: The dealer must select either
the Activation Number and PIN or ESN and PIN from the dropdown, as
seen below:
7. Click Next:

Click Print Receipt (NOTE: Dealer must print the 14 Digit PIN to
apply to the handset, the PIN Number will be printed on the receipt).
The dealer must print the receipt from WebPOS and instruct
the customer to follow the instructions on the receipt.
