The Grässlin Ecosave is a quartz-regulated 24 hour timer, with internal
rechargeable battery giving running reserve for 72 hours. The device is
intended for control of 3 Kw immersion heater circuit(s). Output circuits
can be single, dual or double immersion heater loads. The timer controls
the main immersion element on a a 24 hour cycle. A separate boost control
gives an optional 15, 30, 60 or 120 minute self-resetting output. The
boost output can be linked to the single main element or - if installed - a
secondary immersion heater element, without disrupting the main element
programmed sequence. If boost output is selected, this automatically
inhibits the main timer output for the duration of the boost period. A doublepole isolation switch allows the outputs to be switched off for extended
periods, without disrupting the timed sequence when next required.
