eCopy PDF Pro Office How to “White out” an area using Redaction 1 Redaction Step 1 – Change Redaction Properties 1. 2. Select “Redaction Tool Properties” Click on “Mark Color and change to White” To permanently remove sensitive information from a document we use “Redaction”. Redaction can be set to any color including white. 2 Redaction Step 2 – Draw “Redaction” Box 1. 2. 3. Select “Mark Redaction” Draw a box around the area you wish to “white out” Repeat this step for all areas you wish to “white out” 3 Redaction Step 3 – Apply Redaction 1. 2. Select “Apply Redaction” Click “Apply” in the dialog box that appears. This will make the “white out” permanent. 4
