She has been named the top ABC (Anything But (Border) Collie) handler. Jo has raised and trained bearded collies for over 20 years. Jo works with all breeds, but her first love is her Beardies. She has taught at Clean Run, Power Paws, and Say Yes agility camps to rave revie ws. She brin gs a wealth of e xperience and an un paralleled perspective to her seminars. Learn more about Jo at http://www.agility-training.co.uk/ REGISTRATION LIMITS: Limited to 12 working teams (seminar host reserves the right to drop in on any session as additional dog) Must have at least 5 dogs registered for a session to be run Auditors are unlimited all days HOURS: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm with an hour break for lunch COST: Working spots: $175.00 per dog per day Auditors: $85.00 per day ********************************************************************************************************************************************************** Thursday, January 22, 2015 – Puppies, Puppies, Puppies (from 3 -12 months): Jo will cover what she does with her puppies as they grow from babies into young adults ready for equipment training Skills for the very young pups will cover developing focus and motivation, control of rewards, recalls, play and other things Jo does with her young pups Skills for the older pups will cover skills she teaches her older pups as they prepare to start equipment training. This will be a great session to audit if you are contemplating adding a new pup to your family in the future! Friday/Saturday, January 23-24, 2015 – Novice Skills; Novice Drills - Open to dogs training at the Novice Level In order to work all drills, dogs must be confident on all obstacles; Use of minimal training props is permitted If your dog has an obstacle(s) they have not completed training on, you may still register but will observe any drill that includes that obstacle Sunday/Monday, January 25/26, 2015 - Intermediate Skills & Drills - Open to dogs training at the USDAA Advanced/AKC Excellent Level This clinic will focus on helping intermediate teams polish basic equipment skills and prepare them for Masters level competition. This includes developing independent obstacle skills; recognizing the best lines through sequences/courses; and improving your dog’s turning skills as well as many other topics. Wednesday/Thursday, January 28/29, 2015 – Masters/Masters Challenge/ International Handling Open to teams training at the AKC/USDAA Masters level with no motivation/focus issues You’ve attended lots of different handling seminars where you have learned many new handling skills but need a chance to put them into play in a different training environment. This is your chance! Challenges put forth in these sessions will be those we see in our Masters classes/USDAA Masters Challenge classes and International classes. In consideration of the acceptance of this enrollment and the opportunity to participate in this seminar, I (we) agree to hold Touch & Go Agility, Placerdog Training Center, LLC, and Jo Sermon harmless for any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of my (our) dog(s) while in, upon or near the premises, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim.
