Visit our Facebook page at : SOUTH OF ENGLAND PAPILLON CLUB South of England Papillon Club Fun Day & Agility Show Agility Show pictures The morning of the fun day was a rather wet affair which meant that outside, the agility people, their stoic Papillons and the judge had to brave the elements. Meanwhile, the rest of us who attended were cosily ensconced in Bradfield village hall. It was rather wet in the morning! The fun classes were judged by Kirsty Miller and a good sum was raised for Papillon Welfare. Ian & Janet Chandler’s final buffet was as good as we’ve come to expect, Pat Clark sold nearly all of her beds, raising even more money for Welfare and the produce stall was very popular. But brightened up in the afternoon! On the subject of Agility, could all handlers who are registered with the Papillon Agility League please let Denise Welsh have all your points for the year (1 Nov. 2010 to 1 Nov. 2011) so she can get all the rosettes etc. ordered ready for the P.A.L. final at Just Minis Christmas Agility Show on 11 December. Thank you! DATES FOR YOUR DIARY Margy Wigan has been in touch to say how proud she is of a dog she bred in 2007, Murvagh Finn McCool , who is flying the flag for Obedience Papillons. Solly, who is owned and worked by Carolyn Lloyd, has now won two Test A classes, along with many other placings, and has also achieved a 2nd place in Test B. Next season he will be concentrating more on Test B, in which he has already often been placed, and starting Test C work. But his determination to sniff the send-away markers before lying down has unfortunately cost him some places! Margy named Solly after the Irish giant Finn McCool because he was a huge 8oz puppy at birth!
