Applicant: Karen and Andrew Purpose: The purpose of the proposed by-law is to amend the Restricted Area (Zoning) ByLaw No. 2005-29 as amended to lands located in Part of Lot 19, Concession 11 (Cardiff). The purpose of the application is to rezone the subject lands to permit the expansion of an existing dwelling and boathouse that are currently located in the shoreline setback. The existing dwelling is proposed to be expanded to achieve a total floor area of 167 m2 (1,800 ft2) and in doing so requires relief from the maximum permissible expansion for a dwelling within the shoreline setback, which is limited to 25% of the existing ground floor area of the existing dwelling. In this case the expansion would result in a 117% expansion. The applicant also requires relief from the lateral expansion provisions established in the Municipality’s Zoning By-law. The applicant is also proposing to replace an existing two-storey boathouse with a new two-storey boathouse. In this case the applicant requires permission to exceed the maximum floor area for a sleeping cabin as well as relief from the maximum height of a detached accessory building. The proposed zoning by-law amendment would rezone the subject lands to a Limited Service Residential Exception (LSR-52) Zone. To date – no letters of support or objections have been received. File No. RZ-12-2014 Roll No. 4601 401 000 10400 0000 2. Applicant: Robert and Karen Hutton Page 3 of 5 Purpose: The purpose of the proposed by-law is to amend the Restricted Area (Zoning) ByLaw No. 2005-29 as amended to lands located in Part of Lot 12, Concession 15 (Glamorgan). The purpose of the application is to rezone the subject lands to permit the construction of a detached patio within the shoreline setback as well as a gazebo that is larger in height and floor area than permitted under the Zoning By-law. The proposed amendment would also permit the addition of a wrap-around apron onto an existing garage with an upper storey sleeping cabin. The proposed zoning by-law amendment would rezone the subject lands to a Limited Service Residential Exception (LSR-51) Zone. To date – no letters of support or objections have been received. File No. RZ-13-2014 Roll No. 4601 903 000 21000 0000 3. Applicant: Nickolas and Linda Alosinac Purpose: The purpose of the proposed by-law is to amend the Restricted Area (Zoning) ByLaw No. 2005-29 as amended to lands located in Part of Lot 1, Concession 4 (Cardiff). The purpose of the application is to rezone the subject lands to permit the construction of a new detached garage within the shoreline setback and the rear yard setback. The proposed garage would have a floor area of 37.2 m2 (400 ft2), and would be located 3 metres from the shoreline and 1.5 metres from the rear lot line, whereas the Municipality’s Zoning By-law requires a 20 metre shoreline setback and an 8 metre rear yard setback. The proposed zoning by-law amendment would rezone the subject lands to a Limited Service Residential Exception (LSR-50) Zone. To date – no letters of support or objections have been received.
