*WE ARE A RECONCILING CONGREGATION
As a reconciling congregation we are part of a nation-wide network of churches that
believes all of God’s people are of sacred worth. We believe that part of our mission is to
raise awareness of the issues surrounding diversity and to work for social justice. By so
doing we more fully embody the mission of the United Methodist Church to open hearts,
minds and doors to everybody. We invite you to worship with us knowing that you are
loved exactly as you are.
STATEMENT OF DIVERSITY
All persons are of sacred worth. As brothers and sisters in Christ we covenant to follow his
example of unconditional love, compassion and justice in our mission and ministry.
Therefore we welcome and nurture the full participation of people of every age, heritage,
ethnic origin, sexual orientation, economic status, faith background, family structure,
gender identity, marital status, race, social standing and varying capability.
Welcome to all. If you are new to our church, please fill out a pew card and place it in
the offering plate, or complete the information in the Friendship Pad. Be sure to visit the
Visitor’s Booth in the fellowship hall. Also, when completing either the pew card, or the
Friendship Pad, please give us your address and phone number so that the Welcoming
Committee can follow-up with you. We hope you will return to worship with us again on
Sundays at 10 a.m.
