Although other courses will be listed in HELIOS during Spring Elective Registration, you should
only chose your preferences from the courses listed below as these are the only ones available
for your section. Preferencing other courses not shown on your section availability list will
result in wasted bids.
Professor Vicki Jackson’s 1L International/Comparative course, Comparative Constitutional Law,
meets on Wednesdays from 8:10am to 10:10am and Thursdays from 9:50am to 11:50am. If you
are enrolled in this course during the 1L International/Comparative registration round, you will
not be able to enroll in any courses that meet on Wednesday mornings from 8:10am to
10:10am, even if they are shown on the list below. You may preference an elective that
conflicts with your enrollment in Prof. Jackson’s course, but you will only be placed on the
elective’s waitlist.
In order to satisfy the 1L Spring Elective requirement, you must enroll in one 2 to 4 credit course
(listed below.) Please note, written work, cross-registration, and one credit courses /reading
groups are not available to 1L students and do not satisfy the elective requirement.
The Registrar’s Office will be holding two registration information sessions for our students on
the following dates:
 Wednesday, October 29 at 5pm in WCC 1010
 Thursday, October 30 at 12pm in WCC 1010
All other registration dates can be found here.
